TP Chronicles | Issue No. 13213 | March 1, 2026| Volume 13

By Pastor Daniel and Lady Notoya Bangura

Hello TPC Family and Friends,

As March brings fresh renewal, we reflect on our 2026 theme, "Walking Worthy of the Upward Calling," and the journey Christ has led us on. This month's focus, "Living the Victorious Life," invites us to embrace Christ’s power and victory in every part of life. As believers, our lives should show His completed work—living from victory rather than striving on our own.

Our goal this month is to embrace the victory that Jesus secured for us. 1 Corinthians 15:57 reminds us: "Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." This journey begins at Calvary, where the Cross shifted us from striving to resting in His work.

This concept is clearly illustrated by Jacquelyn, a cherished member of our media team. Jackie's life, marked by strength even with primary progressive multiple sclerosis, demonstrates faith built on prayers and talks with God. Her journey is a powerful testament to divine dependence, thriving through Christ's strength and grace.

Our series "Living Life Victoriously" guides a shift from self-reliance to trusting God. Each week's theme—Victorious Basics in Battle, Victorious Cross in Calvary, Victorious Renewal in Resurrection, Victorious Triumph in Trials, and Victorious Celebration in Christ—builds upon the last, shaping a complete narrative of victorious living. By exploring these, we learn to live in Christ's victory, seeing it as a current reality given through His strength and love.

INSIGHTS:

Living the Victorious Life

Despite the chilly March winds, Jackie is warming up Turning Point Church (TPC) with her spirit. A part of TPC since 2014, she fully embraces this month's theme, "Living the Victorious Life," with the week's focus on "Victorious Cross in Calvary." Her journey is not about fighting for victory but fighting from victory.

Raised with strong Christian values, Jackie is vital to TPC's media team. She ensures everything runs smoothly online, making our virtual services welcoming. Unshaken by adversity, Jackie's presence and contribution to our social media platforms is felt in full.

Outside church, Jackie knows how to enjoy life. With over 400 books under her belt, exploring finance, or planning her nonprofit dreams, she's all about growth. Spending time with family, enjoying vegan Jamaican dishes, or maintaining her wellness routine—she does it all.

Jackie personifies strength and love, with her favorite verse, 1 Corinthians 16:13, reminding her to be brave and unwavering. Her life is a gentle nudge to us all, showing that with faith, anything is possible!

Victorious Cross in Calvary:

This March, we're focusing on "Living the Victorious Life," with victory at the heart of our theme. The victory we celebrate is not just something to look forward to but something we have right now, reminding us of the triumph Jesus achieved through His resurrection. This victory gives us strength, reflecting the powerful change that happened at Calvary.
This victory isn't just a past event; it's something real for people like Jackie today. Looking at her story, Jackie's journey at Turning Point Church shows a powerful sense of victory. Much like what happened at Calvary, her experiences show that victory comes from trusting in Christ. At TPC, Jackie feels the warmth and support that Christ's victory brings to everyone. Jesus' gift of victory isn't just about getting past hard times; it's about living strongly, like the strength Jackie feels in her church work and family time.

As we embrace victory this season, let's open our hearts to Christ by remembering the promise in Romans 8:37: "In all these things, we are more than winners through Him who loved us." This victory carries a message of strength and triumph, beginning with Christ's greatest success.
