Core Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of Turning Point Church | Rockville, Maryland, based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
God
We believe in one God, eternal existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus
We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right-hand side of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the personality of the Holy Spirit, who reveals Jesus to men, convicts of sin, regenerate the repentant sinner, and sanctify the lives of the redeemed by His presence and power.
Satan
We believe that Satan is a real being who deceives and tempts people, and he is destined for eternal judgment.
Man
We believe that man was created in God's image but chose to sin, resulting in separation from God.
The Holy Bible
We believe that the Holy Scriptures were inspired by God and are the supreme and final authority in faith and life.
Salvation
We believe that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, a free gift of God's love and grace.
Eternal Destiny
We believe that the saved will inherit eternal life with God in heaven, while the lost will face eternal separation from Him.

The Ordinancies
We believe in two ordinances: Baptism, which symbolizes our faith in Christ, and the Lord's Supper, which commemorates His sacrifice.
