Spotlight on Jacquelyn
Welcome to TP Concept!
On September 1, 2025, we proudly launched TP Concept, a blog dedicated to enriching spiritual growth and fostering community engagement at Turning Point Church. Led by my wife, Lady Bangura, and me, we will explore biblical insights, key faith-based topics, practical applications for everyday life, event highlights, powerful testimonies, and much more from our community. We are excited to feature Jacquelyn Fullerton as our month of March Spotlight candidate. Here's her inspiring story.
Hi! My name is Jacquelyn, but everyone calls me Jackie. I am a first-generation American from a Jamaican family. Born here in Maryland, I live with my parents and my two brothers. I joined the TPC family back in 2014!
I am a member of our marvelous media team and provide the visual lyrics to coincide with our glorious praise team. I also run our sensational Instagram account. I have two degrees in Business and Healthcare Management.
In 2013, I was diagnosed with primary progressive multiple sclerosis, which turned my world upside-down. It rocked my faith as I was filled with questions like, "Why me?" But with much talk and prayer with God, He provided me with a list of things that I was destined for. I'm self-taught in the financial market and nutrition wellness. In this ever-changing journey, as long as I have my Savior—my ultimate source of life—I am truly blessed! For my health, I've been a vegan for several years now. In a Jamaican house, that's hard! I prioritize my life with routines and movement, alongside my devoted and warmhearted family and friends who provide care and love.
I have a non-profit organization that's now off the ground with big ideas for 2026! I love learning new and different things. I've read over 400 books, and my new goal is to tackle the New York Times' 100 bestsellers!
Turning Point means the world to me. I feel connected with everyone, even if I'm not in the building. Pastor Daniel and Lady Bangura are astonishing teachers of faith, compassion, and joy! One of my favorite Bible verses is 1 Corinthians 16:13: "Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, be courageous, be strong."
If I were to give a message, it would be to focus on the 'present day' at hand, for tomorrow is a new day.

Insight
Jacquelyn's story is one of strong faith and relying on God during tough times. Even with her diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, she trusts in God's strength and grace. Her life at Turning Point Church and her new non-profit show how she finds purpose and victory through God, much like Deuteronomy 20:4 teaches that true victory is a gift from God. She admits her weaknesses and lets Christ's power help her, showing that relying on God brings victory. Her journey reminds us to trust God's plans and focus on the present, knowing that our battles are His and He gives us the strength to overcome.
